Welcome Archbishop Hero
The Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton joyfully welcomes Archbishop Steven Hero at the time of his installation as Archbishop. A priest ordained in Edmonton in 2000, Archbishop Hero brings a deep connection to this local Church, along with extensive pastoral, academic, and episcopal experience shaped by studies in Canada and Rome. Having most recently served as Bishop of Prince Albert, his appointment marks a new chapter of faith, leadership, and service for the Archdiocese. We look forward with gratitude and hope to his guidance as shepherd of the Church in Edmonton.
